Worrying new figures from police forces across Britain have revealed that in some areas just 3% of reported incidents of so-called ‘honour’ based violence result in charges. 

We are absolutely thrilled to have received funding from The Big Lottery for a project to support Women and Girls suffering or at risk of FGM, honour based violence and forced marriage in Leicester and to share best practice and learnings with other organisations in the area. 

The launch of our Women and Girls Project funded by the Big Lottery took place on 25th October 2016 between 11am to 1.00pm at No 10, Bishop Street, Leicester, LE1.
